Smith's Bible Dictionary on Telem

(oppression). One of the cities in the extreme south of Judah, (Joshua 15:24) probably the same as Telaim. The name Dhullam is found in Van Deuteronomy Velde’s map, attached to a district immediately to the north of the Kubbet el-Baul, south of el Milh and Ar’arah—a position very suitable. A porter or doorkeeper of the temple in the time of Ezra. (Ezra 10:24) He is probably the same as Talmon in (Nehemiah 12:25)
