Washpot (Hastings' Dictionary)
Only fig. : ' Moab is my washpot," Ps 60«= 108» (LXX .Mud^ X^,J>)s t^s Av/ioi /lou, Vulg. Moab olla spei me(e, taking |"m iu its Aram. [cf. Dn 3"*] sense of ' trust '). Like the parallel ' Upon (or unto) Edom will I cast my shoe,' the expression appears to combine the ideius of ownership and of contempt. Cf. art. Shoe.
