Matthew expands the readiness theme with the most material: the faithful/unfaithful servant parable, the days of Noah comparison, and the "one taken, one left" saying. Mark is brief, ending with the doorkeeper parable. Luke's parallel material is scattered throughout the travel narrative rather than concentrated in one discourse.
Extended section with Noah comparison, "one taken, one left," and the faithful servant parable.
Concludes with the brief parable of the doorkeeper: "What I say to you I say to all: Stay awake."
