Question about the Resurrection
Sadducees, who deny the resurrection, pose a trick question about a woman married to seven brothers. Jesus corrects them: in the resurrection people are like angels, and God is the God of the living.

Jesus's scriptural argument is the same across all three: God told Moses "I am the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob," using the present tense, proving the patriarchs still live. Luke alone adds Jesus's comment that those worthy of the resurrection "cannot die anymore, for they are equal to angels," and that "all live to him."
