Armor of God Prayer
The Armor of God prayer based on Ephesians 6:10-18 — a daily prayer to put on each piece of spiritual armor and stand firm against spiritual attacks.
Prayer
Lord, I put on the full armor of God today
so that I can take my stand
against the devil’s schemes.
I put on the belt of truth.
Let me live in honesty and integrity.
I put on the breastplate of righteousness.
Guard my heart with your righteousness, not my own.
I fit my feet with the readiness
that comes from the gospel of peace.
Make me ready to share your good news.
I take up the shield of faith,
with which I can extinguish
all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
I put on the helmet of salvation.
Protect my mind and my thoughts.
I take up the sword of the Spirit,
which is the Word of God.
Let your truth be my weapon.
I stand firm today, fully armed.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
