Page not loading or showing a blank screen
- Hard-refresh the page: Ctrl+Shift+R (Windows/Linux) or Cmd+Shift+R (Mac).
- Clear your browser cache and reload.
- Try a different browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge are all supported).
- Check if your browser extensions (ad blockers, VPNs) are interfering – try disabling them.
Bible text not appearing
- Wait a few seconds – translations load from static files and may take a moment on a slow connection.
- Try switching to a different translation and back.
- Check your internet connection – Biblexika requires an active connection to load content.
- Refresh the page and try again.
Audio not playing
- Make sure audio narration is available for the current translation (BSB and KJV are supported).
- Check your device volume and that the browser is not muted.
- Try clicking the headphones icon again to re-initialize audio.
- On iOS Safari, audio may require a user interaction first – tap the play button directly.
PWA (app) not installing
- On Chrome (Android/desktop), look for the install icon in the address bar or the prompt at the bottom of the screen.
- On iOS Safari: tap the Share button (box with arrow), then "Add to Home Screen."
- Firefox does not support PWA installation on desktop – use Chrome or Edge.
- Make sure you are visiting https://www.biblexika.com (not a local or staging URL).
Pages loading slowly
- Check your internet connection – a stable connection is required.
- Try refreshing the page or clearing your browser cache.
- Install Biblexika as a PWA for faster repeat loading (see above).
Sign-in not working
- Check that you are using the correct email address.
- Use the "Forgot password" link to reset your password.
- If using Google or Apple sign-in, make sure you are using the same method you signed up with.
- Disable browser extensions that may be blocking the auth popup.
Sophi AI not responding
- Make sure you are signed in – Sophi requires an account.
- Check if you have reached the daily free limit (3 messages). It resets at midnight UTC.
- Wait a few seconds and try again – occasional delays can happen during high traffic.
