In Matthew, Jairus says his daughter "has just died" from the start; in Mark and Luke, she is dying and news of her death comes later. Mark's account is twice the length of Matthew's, with more dialogue and emotional detail. The twelve years of the woman's illness matches the girl's age (twelve) in Mark and Luke, a literary connection often noted by scholars.
Compressed account; the girl is said to be dead from the start.
Most detailed: names Jairus, records the Aramaic "Talitha koum," the girl is twelve years old.
Notes the woman spent all her money on physicians.
The bulk of Jesus's public work centered in Galilee: calling of the Twelve, the Sermon on the Mount, parables, miracles, and growing opposition.
