About

A rocky citadel rising 156 meters above Athens, the Acropolis contains the supreme architectural achievement of the ancient Greek world: the Parthenon, the Erechtheion with its Porch of the Caryatids, the Propylaea gateway, and the Temple of Athena Nike.
