Jesus feeds five thousand men (plus women and children) with five loaves and two fish. Twelve baskets of leftovers are collected.

This is the only miracle (apart from the resurrection) recorded in all four Gospels. John alone names the boy with the loaves and Philip's role, and links it to the bread of life discourse.
